It's been a slow week. Been staying home, reading blogs, and failing to motivate myself. I've also been wiki-ing some of my favorite icons, only to realize that both Olivia Palermo and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld both attended The New School. Looks like I'll be in great company this fall.

Chloe & Lissy

That quote made me kind of sad, because I love Chloe as an actress too. I hope she will continue to make films because they serve as just as much inspiration as her clothing.

Fancy footwear

I've wanted that last pair of cage booties by YSL for about a year now. Sometimes I imagine the outfits I would wear them with, if they weren't 1000+ dollars. No matter though because they will be mine someday. As for the other 4 pairs they are my recent shoe lust thanks to jak&jil. Who doesn't want heels upheld by Dior godesses?

Two years ago I was driving somewhere and had a strange compelling feeling to go to a goodwill I saw along the road. I looked around and ended up finding this pair of Raybans along with another pair for a dollar each. Probably one of my favorite things found in a thrift store, along with my 70's LCA camera and snake skin purse. I feel like the only shopping I will be doing for the next few years will only take place in thrift stores so I am hoping for lots more good finds in New York City.

Everybody remembers the same thing

Sometimes I feel like I only twitter for Karl Lagerfeld. He always tweets the most inspirational things and they always completely capture the serious composed demeanor of every picture I've ever seen him in.

The past week has been crazy. It feels like my first week of summer because I had so much dance the past 3 weeks. I had a picnic in the park, night at the drive-ins, and made my own Wang knockoffs from some old sweatpants. My favorite thing about the summer is all the time you have, which I like to spend reading. I also enjoy all the summer foods like watermelon, popsicles, barbecue, and ice cream. Since this is my last summer in Sacramento I'm trying to make it as memorable as possible.
